Porter

Porter was an agency coming to us to develop a new logotype before branching out on their own projects.

Sadly, the final logotype that is shown was not selected.

The Insight

Because this was a start-up, there was little prior information to build off of. After finding out that the client was interested in luxury brands and modern typography, we created options that would feel like they had decades of brand loyalty behind them.

The Process

We explored various options based on mid-century luxury brands and built out logo options that reflected the feeling they were looking for. After landing on a script form, we focused on figuring out the most iconic part, the “P”. We created numerous options, roughing out the letterforms to make a piece that felt as unique as possible.

The Final Product

The proposed final piece was a simple logotype that conveys a sense of luxury while also working as a “signature” for the brand, making them feel more personable.
